Complementary Jewelry Check, Clean and Polish
We strongly encourage our clients to have their rings cleaned, checked and polished at least every six months. There is never a charge for this service at BR Diamond Suite. This no charge policy applies even if prongs need adjustment or stones need tightening. Usually these services can be performed while the customer relaxes with a cup of coffee in our lounge, or while browsing our new designer jewelry collection in our showroom.
Repairs
Do you have jewelry in need of some maintenance? We would love to help! Bring in your pieces and we will analyze and recommend how we can make it like brand-new for you again.
In all cases, BR Diamond Suite reserves the right to advise customers if there are any unusual risks (such as the inability to size a piece or the special requirements of a stone) due to the nature of pieces or parts supplied by customers, the type of design requested, or other requests which may make a piece of jewelry less stable or durable. If, upon such advisement, the customer chooses to proceed with the piece without making the recommended modifications, BR Diamond Suite does not assume any risk.
Sizing
It is important that your jewelry fits you correctly. Our staff will sit down with you and help you properly size your finger with our proportioned ring sizers that best reflect how your ring will fit.
Engraving
Inscribe your fine jewelry with a personal message or commemorative date to make it truly unique and yours. At BR Diamond Suite, our award-winning goldsmiths can hand-engrave almost any piece of fine jewelry.
Appraisals
Appraisals provide you with a replacement value of your fine jewelry pieces for insurance purposes. When requested, we will provide an appraisal to the client at no cost for new hand-made engagement rings and wedding bands purchased at BR Diamond Suite.
We encourage clients to have their jewelry insured as we cannot assume the risk for jewelry that is lost or stolen. We also cannot assume the risk for jewelry that is damaged due to normal wear and tear, accidents, and mistreatment or is damaged because of any condition previously advised to the client.
How often should appraisals be updated?
This depends on your insurance company and policy. Most insurance companies require appraisals be updated every three to five years. We recommend updating your appraisals to ensure they reflect current market values, which can fluctuate and change.
How much are appraisals?
Appraisal prices vary depending on the jewelry to be appraised. Appraisal prices start at $50.00 (per item) for jewelry that was previously purchased and appraised at BR Diamond Suite that needs to be updated. For jewelry that was not purchased at BR Diamond Suite, appraisal prices start at $75.00 (per item).
