History of Opal & Tourmaline
The Opal was discovered around 1850 in Australia, and since then, Australia has produced nearly 95% of the world’s opal supply.
The Tourmaline was first discovered in the 1500s in Brazil by Spanish conquistadors, who mistook it for emerald. Tourmaline comes in all colors of the rainbow, however, pink and green are the most desired.
